Diversity & Inclusion

Our Stance on Diversity & Inclusion

The Moody Foundation recognizes and pledges to continue addressing the need for diversity and inclusion. We will do more listening, learning and investing in our Texas communities as grantmakers to help drive lasting change and put an end to inequality, injustice and systemic racism.

The Moody Foundation was built on our founders’ vision and mission to benefit present and future generations of all Texans. Accomplishing this goal requires prioritizing work with diverse grantees, communities, partners and employees. Our commitment is to allocate more grants and provide more opportunities for rebuilding, healing and empowering the minority communities.

We value and celebrate the unique experiences and diverse backgrounds of our fellow Texans, who continually help educate us on areas of greatest need and influence our grantmaking decisions. We have no tolerance for racism and know that for a better tomorrow, we all need to be better and do better today.

The Foundation does not discriminate against individuals based on their age, employment status, socioeconomic status, military status, religion, pregnancy status, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, disability, race, ethnicity or national origin.
