Welcome Table is a source of community for neighbors creating abundance together in East Austin. We honor each other by nourishing mind, body, and spirit. Welcome Table faithfully advances a cycle of giving and receiving that began in 1941 with the founding of St. James Episcopal Church. Today our signature programs, Freedom Schools and Neighbor to Neighbor, demonstrate a deep commitment to Dr. King’s inclusive vision of Beloved Community.

The mission of Lena Pope is to equip children, families, caregivers, and community with a strong foundation through counseling, education, and behavior interventions. From infants to teens, Lena Pope offers services that improve child and family resiliency, decrease challenging behaviors, and improve school readiness and success. Our counseling, educational, and behavioral programs serve over 3,000 children and families every year.

Breakthrough Houston is an educational program that works with highly motivated, historically excluded students to achieve postsecondary success and empowers aspiring leaders to become educational advocates.

Educate Texas, an initiative of the Communities Foundation of Texas, is a statewide organization with a mission to increase academic achievement and educational equity by leading programs, policy, and partnerships. Our vision is that all Texas students, especially African American, Latino, and economically disadvantaged students, earn a college degree or credential that leads to a living wage and thriving communities.

We dedicate ourselves and our resources to ensuring that all students will be future-ready, having learned and attained their greatest possible educational potential.

College Possible Texas is a leading college access and success organization that empowers students to earn a degree. Our model pairs students with near-peer coaches and an evidence-based curriculum to tackle common college and degree completion barriers, all at no cost. Our students are 30% more likely to enroll in college after high school and three times more likely to earn a bachelor's degree than their peers from similar backgrounds.

The Dallas Education Foundation serves as the direct and designated philanthropic partner of the Dallas Independent School District. With a mission to inspire community investment to accelerate student success, we enable economic mobility for the district’s 140,000 students—nearly 90% of whom are economically disadvantaged—by supporting early learning, advancing literacy, and driving postsecondary success, as well as focusing on student wellness and championing our educators.

The Dallas Zoo's mission, "Engaging People & Saving Wildlife," connects guests with nature through immersive education programs, up-close experiences, a nature-based preschool, and volunteer opportunities. The Protecting the 12 program supports conservation in 24 countries, while local efforts focus on habitat restoration and native species breeding. Home to over 2,000 animals from 350 species, the zoo engages over a million visitors annually with the help of 350 staff and 750 volunteers.

Deans for Impact’s mission is to ensure that every child is taught by a well-prepared teacher. We do this by supporting educator-preparation programs to bring the science of learning into teaching practice; partnering with policymakers to ensure pathways into teaching are accessible, practice-based, and focused on instruction; and equipping leaders with the tools to address today’s most pressing challenges in educator preparation.
