Moody Foundation Awards $250,000 to Galveston County Long Term Recovery Group

Funds will support continued Hurricane Harvey Recovery in Galveston County
TEXAS CITY, Texas (Jan. 14, 2019) - The Moody Foundation awarded $250,000 to support the Galveston County Long Term Recovery Group (GCLTRG) through the Mainland Children’s Partnership. The grant funds labor to repair homes on the GCLTRG’s waiting list when volunteer help is unavailable.

Moody Foundation Awards Grant Benefiting Santa Fe High School Victims, Families and Local First Responders

$250,000 Grant to Improve Security and Safety Measures
GALVESTON, Texas (July 31, 2018) – In response to the May 18 shooting tragedy at Santa Fe High School, the Moody Foundation has granted $250,000 to provide financial support to victims and their families, augment Santa Fe ISD security measures to make classrooms a safer place and purchase updated equipment for Galveston County first responders.
