Grant to provide technology access and education for underserved youth in Galveston
The Moody Foundation has awarded a $1.5 million grant to Comp-U-Dopt to provide computers to underserved youth in Galveston over the next five years.
AUSTIN, Texas – July 30, 2019 – The Moody Foundation has hired Emily Greer as its new Central Texas regional grants officer. Greer’s hiring comes as the Foundation continues to expand its presence across the state, especially in Austin.

Funds will support continued Hurricane Harvey Recovery in Galveston County
TEXAS CITY, Texas (Jan. 14, 2019) - The Moody Foundation awarded $250,000 to support the Galveston County Long Term Recovery Group (GCLTRG) through the Mainland Children’s Partnership. The grant funds labor to repair homes on the GCLTRG’s waiting list when volunteer help is unavailable.
